Our rally in Parliament Square, 9 May

On Thursday 9 May, as thousands marched against war with Standing Together in Tel Aviv, we rallied in Parliament Square to show our solidarity with them and amplify their message of peace and equality.

We heard statements from Labour MPs Nadia Whittome and Alex Sobel, and Green Party peer Natalie Bennett read a statement from Caroline Lucas MP. A message to our protest from Standing Together's National Field Organiser Uri Weltmann was read, as were excerpts from a speech given by Standing Together leader Sally Abed at a protest in Haifa in December.
