Join us in Nottingham on 5 October

Notts Friends of Standing Together will gather for their regular vigil on Sunday 5 October. Join us from 1-2pm in the Old Market Square.

We will hold a special, extended vigil on Sunday October 5th to mark two years since Hamas' horrific attack on October 7th and the beginning of Israel's genocidal war on Gaza. We will stand together, heartbroken and grief-stricken that so many people, Palestinians, Israelis and others, are still undergoing such terrible, unbearable suffering and loss. Once again we will amplify Standing Together's consistent call for an immediate, full ceasefire and for a deal to exchange the remaining hostages held by Hamas for Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons. And we will call on our government to take further steps after recognising Palestine to end the violence and foster peace.
