UK Friends of Standing Together

Join us in London on 5 October

London Friends of Standing Together will hold our next monthly rally at 1pm on Sunday 5 October. Gather at the IFO (Bird Cage), King's Cross Station, N1C 4TB.

Following the horrific attack in Manchester on Thursday 2 October, we will also be using our event to commemorate the victims, and speak out against antisemitism here in the UK.
**
Our event will feature Palestinian and Israeli speakers, as well as testimonies from supporters in Jewish, Muslim, and other communities.**

**We utterly reject any notion that British Jewish communities are directly responsible for the actions of the Israeli government in a way that can ever make them legitimate targets. This belief is antisemitic, rooted in claims of a conspiracy of Jewish or “Zionist” power, of which both the Israeli state and British synagogues are seen as agents.
**
Standing Together fights to transform Israeli society on the basis of a joint struggle between Palestinians and Jews, towards a horizon of equal rights for both peoples. Our principal aim in UK Friends of Standing Together is to build practical and political support for their efforts. On the basis of those same principles of equality and solidarity, we reject bigotry and racism within our own society.

Please join us on Sunday to speak out for peace, freedom, equality, and justice for all.

It's been two years of horror.

Join us to remember the victims of the 7 October attacks and demand freedom for the hostages, and to remember the victims of the war of annihilation Israel has launched since. We gather to call for:

Mourn the dead, fight for the living.

Featuring Palestinian and Israeli speakers, testimonies from those affected by the war, updates on Standing Together's activity, and moments of silent reflection.

The IFO (Bird Cage) is between King's Cross and St. Pancras stations.
