Director Esther Takac’s 2022 film The Narrow Bridge featured four families bereaved in the ongoing wars in Palestine-Israel who had reached out to those on the “other side”. The film explored their journey together in shared loss, forgiveness, trust and hope.

Now, in The Very Narrow Bridge (2024), Esther has revisited and extended the reach of the original documentary, reflecting the ongoing wars and violence — but also the growth of a greater resistance movement, based on the experiences of those whose losses are the greatest and whose guidance suggests a “Very Narrow Bridge” to peace.
